"The Bikeriders" Vandals Motorcycle Jacket

After contributing several jackets for the 2024 film The Bikeriders, we were tasked with recreating the vintage D-Pocket piece worn by Johnny (played by Tom Hardy). The 568 is a midweight cowhide asymmetrical jacket similar in feel to the 519, but with decorative details like the studded kidney back, and western style back yokes. With an open belt loop, you can thread your own, or opt for our BLTV style made specifically for this jacket. As a thinner midweight option for riders, this jacket performs great in warmer climates offering wind protection and moderate road-rash protection.

The 568 is proudly Made In The USA at our factory in Union, New Jersey.

Overview

the "Vandals" Perfecto jacket is a reinterpretation of the vintage jacket worn in the movie The Bikeriders.

The jacket has a back length of 24 inches, which is authentic to the period. We added an iridescent burgundy rainglow lining which is a nod to the red linings of the time. The D-pocket configuration is featured in our first Perfecto motorcycle jacket designed by Irving Schott in 1928.

About this leather: Our medium weight top grain naked, pebbled cowhide is a testament to timeless elegance and rustic charm. Each open pore hide is drum dyed, culminating in a matte finish that speaks to those with an appreciation for understated luxury. The leather undergoes a special tumbling process, enhancing its texture to reveal a pebbled natural grain. This softens the leather without diluting the strength.
