Beautiful jacket I waited a lifetime for. Well worth the wait and with it being repairable and recraftable it will last and last.

Sizing, I am a 44L right off the rack for a suit or sport coat. I bought a XXL and it fit me perfectly with a little room for a sweatshirt or sweater.

Just go for it you will not regret your purchase.

Perfect jacket. I’m 40” chest, 32” waist, 5’7”, size medium fits perfect. Even with a hoodie underneath, this jacket fits exactly the way I had hoped it would. I’m in love with it, and the perfect craftsmanship and quality of the materials is what dreams are made of.

In short, I waited a long time to pull the trigger on a black Perfecto, and I wish now that I hadn't waited so long.

This is my 3rd jacket from Schott - The others being a 660, which was later traded out for 641HH. I also have a brown 626. So, I knew what to expect from a quality-perspective. Anyone that's put their hands on a Schott leather jacket will understand what I mean; for those that haven't experienced Schott first-hand, do yourself a favor and grab one.

For reference, I'm mid 30's, 5:9' and 180 lbs and I purchased a size medium. The jacket fits like a glove. Initially, I had purchased a size large, thinking that I might want the extra room. However, after re-visiting my brown 626, I rushed to E-mail customer service - Jerri was more than helpful and went out of his way to make sure the right size was sent out.

As I mentioned before, quality from Schott is first class. I'm not a garment expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I can confirm the PER62 is expertly-crafted by the hardworking people at Schott. The steer hide has a beautiful sheen to it. The weight is excellent and the pewter-colored hardware is really nice. An especially cool touch is the small chain pulls on the pockets.

If there's one "complaint" I have, I would say that the Conmar zipper doesn't zip with as much authority as the heavy zipper on my 626; this could just be because Conmar is a different zipper than the other Schott's I've had. It's also possible that the addition of a leather pull-tab on the bottom zipper would help. In any case, this is a minor thing, a I couldn't be happier with this jacket and I look forward to many years of wear.

Another neat aspect of this jacket is that you can source a faux fur collar from Schott - Something I intend to do for the extra-cold days - Not to mention the classic James Dean look.

Although it was a pretty penny, I take solace knowing that I only had to cry once when purchasing. :)

This octogenarian has finally discovered the craftsmanship and good looks of an American made treasure. My new Perfecto is beautiful and a matchless fashion statement!! It is no insult to be upstaged by a one of a kind leather jacket during an outing in town or country.. Get one and enjoy the attention, as well as the fun and feel or this gorgeous creation! Caveat: don’t take your eye off it should you choose to hang it somewhere!!

I'm a 42. Ordered Large . The leather is fantastic. Love the finish. Also like the inside pocket location. It’s a must have for your collection. Very sexy jacket.

This is my 3rd Schott jacket. Really enjoying the look, feel and fit of this particular style. Looking forward to breaking it in with wear. I’ve already started to have fun with it by adding some pins to the lapels.

I’m 5’9, 160lbs and the L fits me well with a bit of room for a flannel shirt beneath.

Great bang for your buck. Appreciate the good folks at Schott keeping their prices reasonable. Love that they stay true to their roots.

The term “tea core” is used far too often by those who have no idea what it means. This jacket is what it means (but I would have preferred horsehide). I’ve been waiting for a tea-core horsehide jacket from Schott but I settled for this — and I’m glad I did. I can’t wait for the coffee-colored base to start showing through the top layer of black dye. Shouldn’t take too long but I have so many other Schott leather jackets to wear. I’ll just have to prioritize.

Schott never disappoints. Quality, style and great customer service

Leather is soft and shiny and supple. Very comfortable and easy to wear. Not sure if this is what I would call tea core though, more like a top finish with a light colored core underneath. Zippers and hardware are first rate. Overall quality is very high. The snaps are a grey pewter color which I love. I used the fit guide here with a desired slim fit and that is just what I got. Fit could not be better, with the front just covering my pant belt. I’m 6’ 195 lbs and got a M. The leather isn’t terribly robust so this will be an around town motorcycle jacket - not really a highway jacket for me - and also perfect for casual wear.
