Over 40 years ago, in high school, a friend and I purchased knock-offs at the local mall. Wore that thing everyday. Many years later I purchased the Schott Perfecto 613SH.The memories came flooding back. Such an awesome jacket. I purchased a size 36 and it fits well. I’m 5’6, 35 chest, 135 Lbs.I accidentally posted the same review for the 618. Oops, but I may get that one too!

I’ve been wearing Perfecto style jackets since high school and currently owned 4 of them. However I’ve never owned any in horse hide or a true original Perfecto so I decided to splurge on this. Very well made and very sharp looking. I sized up one from my true chest measurement and it still fits nice a trim. Highly recommended.

This is the best jacket I've ever owned! I've been looking on ebay for the perfect leather jacket for 10 yrs. This is it. Wish I came here first.

An iconic jacket which fits so well and makes you feel great. The horsehide is beautiful and in my case not too stiff right off the bat, not much breaking in necessary. I like the shorter length of this style and also chose a 36 for a very snug fit. (my chest is 37"). With a tee it's perfect. I also have a 626 in S which has more room for layering. Both awesome jackets.

Schott offers a lot of different models of their iconic Perfecto jacket. Some of the differences are quite obvious while others are more subtle. Deciding which one is right for you is kind of a process. They are obviously all great jackets and you’d probably be happy with any one of them, but in my opinion the 613sh stands alone over all the others.

Every decision on the 613sh was the right one. It has the heaviest, stiffest, best horsehide that’s both shiny and an extremely deep, dark shade of black. It definitely takes some break in, but it’s well worth it. The old-school cut and omission of the underarm footballs gives this jacket a slightly trimmer, less bulky look without sacrificing mobility or reach on the bike. The omission of the collar snaps was a subtle but great move! It gives you the option of wearing the collar up (Fonz) and seems to work better when the jacket is in its fully zipped (lapels in) position while riding. Arm length is very generous. Obviously the stars are a must have!

I’m 5’11” 185 pounds 43 inch chest, relatively fit build. I wear a large t-shirt and 33 or 34 waist pants. I went with size 44 in the 613sh. Jacket looks good with either a t-shirt or a hoody. I also have a 618hh in a 44 which fits a little bigger overall than the 613sh. It’s a good runner-up if you need a little more wiggle room and like the underarm footballs.

Fantastic jacket. The fit is like a glove and true in size. If you want to wear a thick garment underneath like a hoodie you need to order a size larger than you normally would because this is a fitted jacket, not loose and sloppy at ALL. It fits snuggly against the torso. Looks fantastic and obvious of high lest quality, a very high end look that gets lots in compliments. If you want to stand out, THIS will do it!!!!! I’ve purchased FIVE jackets from Schott, I won’t buy from anyone else!!!

Ordered a size a bit small and exchanged that one for one size larger. Holy hell, it is a piece of armor. This is a beautiful jacket and I’m happy that I purchased it from the company that invented this look. Absolutely worth it. Thank you, Schott, for all that you do.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and it came quickly, packaged well & the jacket fit his perfectly. He loves it! Will definitely be ordering his jackets here. Very good quality too!

Putting this jacket on instantly makes you feel like a badass. Really, it feels incredible to wear and gets a lot of attention. The horse hide is really thick and heavy, which I love. Also, its considerably more lustrous than the cow hide option. I purchased mine at the shop in Los Angeles about a year ago. A few months back I met Arnold Schwarzenegger while wearing this jacket and he smiled when he looked at it, I don't think I need to say more.

I once tried 618HH size36 a few months ago. It was a good fit, or a little bit tight at waist and wrist. That means a good fit for Slim FIT PREFERENCE, a little bit tight for Standard fit to me. My size, HEIGHT 5 ft 8 in, WEIGHT 128 lb, CHEST 35 in ( 173cm, 58kg, 89 cm ). Actually FIT GUIDE shows size 38 for FIT PREFERENCE Standard, and 36 for Slim and Very Slim. I totally trust FIT GUIDE. 618 and 613 are FIT slim cut anyway. I had thought very difficult to purchase a leather jacket for my size slender, but Schott NYC!! I bought 613SH because underarm football of 618HH maybe too much to me and stars of 613HH are still charming. Horsehide is a great quality sturdy and shining I love. I ordered Saturday night at Schott NYC website and received in Paris, France, the box Wednesday morning, very rapid even one day earlier than estimated delivery date. Thank you Schott, GREAT!!!

Overall nice quality. Back length fine at 25 inches. I sat down on a chair an it "blouses up" in the chest area. Could be at least an inch shorter in the front panels. Beautiful jacket though!

Absolutely one of my favourite clothing items now. The pictures make the jacket look a lot more shiny than it actually is. The jacket came out pretty stiff but it was rather easy to break it in. The sleeves are still a bit stiff but I feel those are becoming comfortable everyday. There is a weight to the jacket, so you might want to be aware of it. If someone is buying for purely fashion purposes HH might not be the best option. I got it for fashion purposes and have no regrets but ymmv. The folks at schott were helpful with the additional sizing info. I am 5'10 with a slightly athletic figure. Got size 38 and tbh it fits me almost perfectly. The sleeves and height of the jacket are maybe an inch longer than ideal but it still fits great on me. The only complain would be its not as warm as I expected. If temperatures drop to 10 degrees celsius then the jacket alone may not protect you.

First of all thank YOU Denise for all your helpful online customer service! You have helped me to find the perfect jacket. I am 5’10”, chest 40”, waist 36”, i ordered a size 40 and it’s a slim fit which is what I like. Having said that, I will only be able to wear a t-shirt underneath it and probably lose some weight 5-10 lbs to look the part. So it all depends on how you like your look to be!

Having said that, I don’t find the horse hide to be too stiff and I love the shine and feel of the leather.

My dream jacket! The jacket is heavy weight, and the horsehide is a beautiful work of art and craftsmanship. As soon as I opened up the packaged and smelled that new leather smell; and took a look at it was awesome! This is a serious jacket and the real deal. Having a Perfecto from Schott to own is an awesome feeling to have. The jacket gives me a special feeling every time I wear it; that cannot be described unless you own a Perfecto yourself. I'm trying to save up to buy the 613s for my younger brother for his birthday.
I think he would love it. I feel this jacket is going to age well and only get better with time. This is why I think investing in a quality leather jacket is a smart purchase because if you take care of it; the jacket will only get better with time. After a week of wearing the jacket creases in the arms have started to develop. Although it is rainproof this is my baby and want to protect it and take care of it so it will age nicely. I will try and keep it away from rain, but If I get caught in the rain no biggie. I learned from my past two Schott's not to intentionally wear it in the rain and beat it up. Schott makes the best.

I don’t normally leave reviews however, this time I felt that I must for two reasons. Firstly the jacket. Simply put it’s SUPERB. Secondly sizing. I live in the U.K so it was vital I ordered the right size as returning was not going to be an option. I have a 41 inch chest. I was able to try the 618 in a size 40. This was a snug fit not too tight. I spoke to Schott support who were excellent. They gave me all the measurements for both jackets so I could see the difference. I was advised to go for a size 42 to allow for the slightly tighter fit of the 613sh. This advice was spot on. Perfect fit. Thank you.

Could not be more impressed with my Schott Perfecto 613sh. I’m 6’1” 180 lbs and I wear a size 40 suit jacket, I ordered the same size for my Perfecto. Man! It fits like it was made just for me! The HH leather is beautiful and the workmanship is 5 star til the last stitch.

Stunning jacket and very quick delivery to Australia - couple of days. This is just a perfect jacket and fitted me true to size. As close to the original from what I can see, and no need for football underarms while riding. The only thing I would I say is beware of additional duties in Australia for purchases above $1k Aussie.

So happy with my new 613SH!!! It's a perfect fit!! Slim through the body and arms, and has high armholes for a snug but comfortable fit around the chest. Leather is a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will break in with more wear. Love the jacket....definitely Perfecto!

This Perfecto has to be one of the finest jackets that Schott is currently making. The pictures are good, but don't quite do it justice. You really have to see this jacket with your own eyes and hold it in your hands to appreciate its quality. Achieving the right fit with jackets like these is crucial so I was thrilled to see a slim cut variant of the 613 become available. The sleek cut of the 613SH is extremely flattering on my athletic frame. There was no need to size up or down.

I bought this as my first horsehide leather jacket and I have to say that I'm very impressed with its quality. The smooth grain and slightly glossy finish really make this jacket stand out, even from other leather jackets of a similar style. It was a tad stiff when it first arrived, but it has broken in rather well by now and is quite comfortable to wear.

Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this Perfecto. The jacket manages to be flashy, rugged, and sophisticated all at the same time. I know I'll be wearing it with confidence for many years to come.

This jacket seems to be as close to the original 613 as you can get. The leather is beautifully smooth and shining. It even smells and sounds good! I've tried many brands of leather jacket, but nothing is as good as this. Delivery was incredibly prompt - just three days from New York to London - and Jerri at Schott was very helpful about measurements.

Unless you're fairly overweight, I would ignore Schott's advice, and go for your normal size for a snug fit.
