The quality and craftsmanship is great. My problem is with the fitting. I already have one in a small size and it is perfect for just a t-shirt or a polo and the sleeves are just perfect for me. I ordered another one in a medium size for when I need to wear a sweater underneath and it fits me fine in the torso but the sleeves are at least more than 1 inch too long and I am 6” and 175lbs. There is no reason for those sleeves to be that long. Anyway I just returned it

I bought my first-ever leather jacket years ago during the summer of 2021. I wanted something light, agile, durable, and iconic - something I could wear regularly. After a lot of research, I landed on the 626. Since then, it's been a staple in my wardrobe and has become a huge part of my life. I wore that thing until the zipper tags fell off and the lining started falling apart.

Recently, I decided to purchase another 626 to have a fresher jacket, and so I could start customizing my older, more worn-in jacket. Much to my surprise the more recent jacket is softer and lighter than my previous one! It is still just as stylish, and seemingly durable, but much more breathable and easier to wear. Yet despite the clear changes, the 626 is just as iconic as ever.

I'm not sure when Schott decided to change up the cowhide on the 626, but I'm glad they did. Only time will tell how durable the newer model is, but I have absolute faith in this amazing company.

10/10 would recommend to anyone.

It's an excellent jacket that I own since 2017! It has not moved! I have it in M size and it fits perfectly... a bit tighter lately since I got fatter
It has a style no one else can copy, a heavy a well constructed leather and still comfortable to wear. These pieces are nearly impossible to find in France, even the high end luxury brands aren't worth the quality of this jacket, for up to 3 times the price!

I’m a sucker for a cool leather jacket and this has become my new favorite. I’m 6’0, 165 with a 40” chest and went with a size M as suggested by the size chart. The fit came out perfect. Just right in the shoulders and the sleeve length is spot on. Schott’s photos and description indicate the jacket has a somewhat glossy finish but my copy has the traditional matte leather finish to my eye. Which is just fine by me.

Unbelievably beautiful. Fit and finish amazing, sizing chart was accurate. I am 6 ft250 lbs, jacket is snug on the beer belly otherwise shoulders and arm length great. Despite being almost 60 this jacket works as an everyday wear. Surprisingly warm with cotton liner, glad I didn't get the 118 , would have been cooking in the fall and spring.

This is my first Schott MC jacket. I'm 5'8" and weigh 140. The jacket fit perfectly and the quality is excellent. Beautiful jacket!

If you want to look killer at concerts, this is your jacket. If you want to look like a rockstar, this is your jacket. I have three shot jackets. A 234, a per 70, and a 626. If you want one that looks aged and worn get the per 70, otherwise get the 626. Both have a slimmer fit. Both of these jackets are great because they don't have underarm footballs which mess up the aesthetic. So glad I have a 626.
Strangely enough, the women's 626 doesn't have buy swing arms, but the women's 626 VN does, the men's 626 VN does not have by swing arms. So if you want by swing arms and you're a dude, get the 626. If you're a woman get the 626vn. I got my girlfriend a 626 VN and she loves it. I love my 626 and feel like it's the best offering from shot if you want the quintessential look and jacket. I can't wait to go to some concerts and for the cooler weather to return.

I went with a medium. I am tall at 6'2" and 180lbs. It fits great and looks awesome without any bulkiness. The leather is really nice and the stitching and detail is spot on.
If you're a musician, this jacket is great for stage use and looks very rock and roll. Best jacket for going to concerts as well.
Their slim fitting jackets like the Per70 and the 626 are meant for slender type folks, if that is you, then this is your jacket.
(On a side note) Schott flip flopped the bi-swing feature offered between their men's and women's jackets. The women's 626vnw has bi-swing arms but the 626w doesn't. In men's the 626 has bi-swing arms and the 626vn does not. I got my girlfriend a 626wvn also and she love it. It's her first leather jacket, She is petite and I got her a small. Both of our jackets have the same features but hers has a vintaged finish. The 626 is totally Badass.
If you want to look cool at ALL concerts and everywhere you go, then you owe it to yourself to get a Schott 626 or Per70.

If you want the best fitting biker jacket for looking awesome at concerts, this is it. I am 180lbs, 6'2" tall and not overweight. The guide said to get a medium. It is perfect. I also got a Per70 not long ago in a Large and it's great but the fit on the 626 is divine. The classic 626 has the bi-swing back with no underarm footballs and is perfect. I can still fit a hoodie on if I wanted to. The fit feels tailored and it looks really good. Don't worry, it's not terribly shiny, and some of the shine will wear off after breaking in. Anyway, this is the quintessential looking and fitting jacket with all the bells and whistles. Flannel lining, belt, epaulets, coin pocket, full panels of leather. The only thing I would change if I was designing it would be to locate the sleeve zippers more on the top or side rather than underneath (just for looks). This jacket is SICK. If you aren't overweight, this is the model to order unless you are an actual biker and wanted something thicker. Though I would think one could totally ride in this jacket especially in the less colder months. This jacket will be perfect for going to concerts or for stage use too (if you're in bands like I am). Trust the size chart. Also this jacket isn't squaky like my per70 (the collar makes hella squeaks, I'll need to hit it with a little talcum powder.) The Per 70 is a ridiculously badass jacket too, I should have kept the medium and not exchanged it for a large, although it fits great too, just not as snug and fitted, but still has a fitted look and not that boxy gut on other models. I recommend both of these jackets. The 626 has shinier hardware than the per70. All in all, I will be wearing the effing crap out of this jacket in all but the coldest months with the Per70 and 234 thrown in the rotation here and there. I think the 626 will be my main go to biker jacket for life. Thank You Schott. It arrived in 3 days.

The jacket I wanted all my life! It got delivered here in Canada and i couldn't take it off. Very light, silky inside, not over warming. Perfect for motorcycle. Thank you SCHOTT! you hit it out of the park!

Perfect for Florida motorcycling fro Fall to Spring. I am happy that I purchased it.

The leather used to make the jacket is absolutely stunning, soft and overall not heavy on the shoulders. Even the collar feels soft and warm against the neck and easily bends around your neck, instead of trying to push your neck forwards like some of the really heavyweight leather jackets. The cut and design is wonderful, as some who is tall and a narrow cut it fits really well with plenty of room to move. Without a huge unwanted gut, that seems to be built into so many jackets once the size goes over medium.
The only room for improvement would be using a natural material to line inside the sleeves, the polyester lining while durable leaves much to be desired.

At 6’7, 290lbs and muscular build, finding things that fit is not easy. I was looking for a 33rd birthday present for myself and after months of ordering online and returning jackets from other brands, I finally went to a Schott retailer in Vancouver. He put me in a 118, and I couldn’t wait for it to get here. Alas, there was a 4 month back order so he advised me to contact Schott directly and see if anything else might fit. I dug the 626 and reached out to Schott to see if it would fit. Gail and Jerri promptly sent me the sizing sheet, I compared measurements and everything seemed a go. So I placed an order and crossed my fingers…

Today, literally 4 days after I placed my order, I got my XXL 626 in the mail. It fits like a glove, best jacket I have ever owned. I was just at the gas station in this beast of a jacket and a girl pulled me aside and muttered: “You’re the kind of guy who knows exactly who he is”… and if that doesn’t sell you on this jacket, I don’t know what will.

I have had several leather jackets before ( the cheap ones). For some reason, there is always something off. I do not feel confident wearing it. So I decided to try the schott 626. It is expensive but I figure I can always return it if I did not like it. The gamble paid off. The jacket is true to size. Fits comfortable and the confidence in wearing it is there. This one is a keeper. Finally, I am done looking around. This jacket may be expensive, but this will last forever. It is a no brainer,

However the sleeves covered my hands.
I wear a 36inch sleeve in dress shirts, so I thought i'd be ok..

I really liked the jacket, but didn't like the stars on the epaulets, and the 1 ½” diamond 3oz polyfill insulated fixed quilt body liner is too limiting in Australia. Thanks to Revolve's wonderful free shipping and free returns, I was able to return this jacket for a full refund.

After further help from Jerri at Schott, I decided to go for the 626 (direct from Schott) thanks to these advantages over the 519:

1. Similar cut to the 519 (although shorter sleeves and shorter body length, both which suit me better)
2. No epaulet stars
3. Shinier leather than on the 519
4. Snap button on the upper collar
5. 100% cotton flannel lining which makes the jacket more wearable all year round in Australia (Geelong, VIC.).

This jacket is great! It looks great and it feels great on! I can't wait to wear it.

Just be aware that Australian customs will sting you approximately an extra AU$269.24 because the jacket is over AU$1000, so factor that cost in. For me it was still well worth it!

This is a great light weight jacket that is well suited for both riding and casual wear. Though I wouldn't say it is "fitted" in the traditional sense, but is probably more fitted than their other jackets. I still found it rather boxy on my athletic build. I have a 41 inch chest and 33 inch waist and found lots of room in the midsection and a bit tight in the chest, armpits, sleeves and forearms. The size chart had me at a medium which is what I got, though the fit guide suggested a small that was in no way acceptable. That being said, as with all good leather, there is some eventual break in though I think I'd prefer it with a better taper and more room in the upper section, it would go a long way to make the jacket look more flattering. These style jackets don't always look so good on people who are anything but super skinny. With my athletic build these jackets can really make my midsection swell, but this isn't has bad as some other jackets I guess. As far as motorcycle riding, its actually quite excellent. Its great for my neutral riding position. The jacket vents incredibly well, better than a lot other jackets on the market, with the low opening in front and the loose sleeves you get plenty of air flow going into the jacket and out the back. I can wear it in as hot of weather as 85°f. When the weather gets cold you can unbutton the collar and zip up the front all the way up. Just synch down the belt and zip the sleeves up and you're good to go. As with all cold weather gear its more about layering than anything else and this is a decent outer shell, I've worn this on the highway at about 50° f with no problems. With heated gear you could go colder. That being said this is more a warm weather jacket than a cool one.

I was looking to buy this jacket new and came across a used brown one in excellent condition. It is the older version of the 626 (pre 2014) before they changed the model and added bi-swing back and removed the stars on the epaulettes.
I am 5'10, 168 pounds and the Medium fits like a glove. My twin must have been wearing it all these years. The medium cowhide leather is pebbled, not smooth and is substantial but has a soft hand. It's a great jacket pre or post 2014.

I live in south Texas. The weather here changes every 15 minutes it seems. This jacket is thick but still feels like no leather jacket I’ve ever worn. It stays cool and Feels great. A lot of motorcyclists don’t wear leather here for more than 2 months out of the year. This jacket stays cool and would save a lot of skin.

I'm a 44yo and have never owned a proper leather jacket. I've always thought they wouldn't work for my personal style (I'm typically a peacoat/trench/field/flight jacket guy). Finally decided to take the chance, and after looking at styles and brands, decided on Schott. I'd actually first been looking at a cafe racer jacket, figuring it'd suit me better - but then something inside said if I was already trying something new, I may as well step all the way out of my comfort zone. I am so glad I did, bc the 626 is AWESOME.

I'm 6'1, 215-220lbs, 46 chest, broad shoulders/pretty athletic build. Though some reviews suggest sizing down, the Schott size assist advised getting an XL, so I went with that. The jacket arrived today, and is freaking beautiful!! The leather is robust/thick, unexpectedly soft & (thankfully) not nearly as shiny as some pics make it look, rich deep black, and the zips/appointments are all VERY well done. Overall craftsmanship is superb, and you can tell immediately. The fit is snug around my shoulders and arms - as it should be for a slimmer fit - but not overly restrictive. I'm sure as I wear the hell out of it, it'll loosen up and mold perfectly to my shape, as well as develop some great character. VERY satisfied customer, thank you!!

After looking at the sizing guides I went with a Medium. I’m 6’1” and 170lbs. The jacket couldn’t have fit better. It exceeded my expectations and I’m thrilled with the purchase. After wearing it for a week or so it’s already forming to my body and the leather is relaxing. I plan to have it the rest of my life. If you want the best you got to pay for the best.

The quality and fit of this jacket are so amazing. I have an original Perfecto jacket (I swear it weighs 80 lbs!) and also bought a Cafe Racer style jacket from Schott last year. But, I was looking for a bad ass jacket that I could wear in the spring and early fall as well because the other jackets are on the heavier side.

I’m a bigger guy who’s built like a linebacker at 6’1” and 265 lbs. I went with the website’s recommendation of buying a XXXL even though I usually wear an XXL. The jacket fits perfectly. Everyone should buy this jacket for the warmer weather- you will not be disappointed!
